Sophon, an entertainment-focused zkSync hyperchain, has successfully raised approximately $60 million within a week of launching its node sale. The funds, added to a previous $10 million raised, support its modular blockchain for high throughput sectors like AI and gaming. Co-founded by Sebastien and Pentoshi, Sophon expects a Q3 2024 launch alongside the zkSync Hyperchain toolkit. SOPH token distribution upon launch requires staking BEAM and ZENT assets.
