GC Exchange FZE (GCEX), part of the GCEX Group, has appointed Saeed Al Darmaki as Non-Executive Director for the UAE region. With extensive experience in the digital asset industry, Al Darmaki will focus on driving growth for GCEX, which holds an Operational Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). Al Darmaki, CEO of Sheesha Finance and co-founder of Alphabit investment fund, has a background in traditional finance and has held numerous advisory and board roles. GCEX opened its Dubai office in July 2022, providing institutional clients with deep liquidity on digital assets and focusing on client protection through partnerships with regulated custodians.
