The value of the global cryptocurrency ecosystem is expected to grow exponentially in the coming years, potentially increasing up to 200 times within a decade, according to Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands. Speaking on The Valr Podcast, Siu predicted that the current cryptocurrency market, valued at around $2.7 trillion, could double or triple in the next 12 to 18 months. Siu attributes this growth to billions of people becoming digital property owners in the Web3 ecosystem, particularly in Asia, which he identifies as the fastest-growing market for Web3. His bullish outlook also extends to Bitcoin, which he believes could reach $1 million in the long term.
